I dont play professionally. That would be hard and a risky way to live. But the biggest win ive had is 200$ for first place in a tournament.

RE: Money or Fun
I once was $850 up on a $1/$2 money table, i got incredibly drunk and by morning i had nothing. I was actually quite scared about what i had done. Not because i had lost much of my own money ($75) but because i didn't seemed to mind losing over $800 after i had had a couple of drinks. Stay sober is my advice even if i don't follow it myself. other than that i have managed a $350 coming first in a touney allthough thats gone aswell. Well done kidpokerII that is an impressive amount of money to win on a 2 hour bus journey and you were still in school.
KidpokerII are you allowed to play for real money on pokerstars or do you have to be 21 if your from the united states, if so you should sign up to some of the European based online poker rooms, you only have to be 18. Sun Poker, ladbrokes, Betfair and many others.

RE: Money or Fun
I play whenever i can, most ive ever gone up, is i won 300$ in 2 weeks of tournys with my friends. 20 dollar buy in each one. i won all but one. But we generally play 5-30$ cash games, or 10,20,40$ tournys its a lot of fun. Im generally better than a lot of them in the cash games, but in tournys, its all about chance lol. And in cash games, if you break even for 3-4 hours of playing poker, I say its worth it.
